One of Farragut’s most talked about restaurants will reopen, and the new owner is making some changes after a tumultuous two years.

35 North at 11321 Kingston Pike opened as a food truck venue and bar in December 2020 with plans to transition into a full-service restaurant. The business quietly closed in December 2022 and was listed for sale at $200,000 on bizbuysell.com.

New owner Vinit Sharma purchased the business (not the real estate) in February. He hopes the reopened 35 North – with a new kitchen and a consistent menu – will become a hot weekend destination in Farragut.

Sharma, the co-owner of Iron Works Grille in Tellico Plains, hopes to open the revamped 35 North at the end of May.
